I know how it is. You’ve got a house to expand, public works to develop, stuff to buy—whatever your reason, you need bells, and you need bells bad. No worries. I’m here to help you make bank in New Leaf. When you start out—before you have the island unlocked—the best you can do is to rely on old-school methods. You’ll want to make sure you bang every rock you come across with a shovel, because there’s a daily money-spawning rock and a gemstone rock— as I mentioned in my original tips article. Sometimes you might even get a rock that spawns multiple gemstones instead of multiple bags of money, which is great. And, naturally, you’ll want to search for fossils—these can fetch some decent bells. In addition to that, any fruit that’s not native to your town will sell for bells each at Re-Tail, meaning that every tree of non-native fruit nets you 1. It’s dependable non-perfect fruit regrows every few daysand you don’t really have to do anything after the initial fruit acquisition and planting. Not bad.

If you’re tired of shaking trees and selling fruit in an effort to afford that next house upgrade, you can stop now. Follow this guide to be raking in the bells in no time at all. First, start the Bell Boom. As mayor of your town, you’ve probably already set one of the ordinance options.
Starting Off
Animal Crossing: New Leaf marks the debut of another classic Nintendo franchise on a new handheld. With this new entry come more adorable animals to meet, more bugs to net, more fish to catch, and more memories to create. But what if you’re not sure how to being this new adventure? Lucky for you, we’ve compiled a list of tips that will help your town become a bustling utopia in no time. Keep reading for ways to clear the game’s two biggest hurdles: starting off and making money. When starting the game, you’ll be asked to pick your town layout from some mapped options. The thing is, this layout doesn’t have a huge affect on your experience. They all have the standard beaches, rivers, and trees.
Turning Over
Fortunately, there are a number ways to make easy money in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Super Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, etc. Fortune cookies are purchased with Play Coins , which you earn by walking around with your Nintendo 3DS. In other words, you can put the system into sleep mode and carry it with you while running errands to get as many Play Coins as you need. Your town has its own native fruit, and each piece generally sells for bells. However, you can also procure non-native fruit, which typically goes for bells per piece. If you get even a single piece of non-native fruit, make sure you plant it. Your animal citizens may also give you pieces of fruit as a gift, plus you can get a basket of non-native fruit if you complete all of the tasks that Isabelle assigns to you in City Hall. Fruit that grows on palm trees, like coconuts and bananas, must be planted close to the beach in order to flourish. Perfect fruit looks especially lush and tantalizing, and one piece is worth bells. You can shake trees by standing next to them and pressing the A button. Alternatively, you can avoid getting a face full of stingers if you run into a house. Even if you get attacked, you can collect the empty hive and sell it for bells. If you bash it open with your ax or shovel, you can find ore inside that sells for a lot of money.

AfroPuff New Member. I know noone wants to give away their secrets to making tons of gold, but it seems like so many people have thousands afnl. Especially with donations being down. Just surprised I guess.
I’m new to the server, and having a hard time even finding room for my 16×16 farm. So if anyone has any info they’d like to share I’d appreciate it. Saikon Member.
Farm golden ruins turtles for coinpurses and sell the archeum, ontop of the money from the coin purses it adds up. Kashi Member. Just pick a job and focus on it. You can do larceny, farming mobs all day and opening coinpurses. With the rising value of sun and moonpoints, every time you get one that’s a pretty penny. You can be an alchemist and makes pots and frosts all day. You can do commerce and move farms full of packs, especially across the ocean, sometimes rock salt hits up to 3g.
Or you can do one of my personal favorites and craft gear. That one is more like the lotto, but if you get delph that’s like 4. There is also fishing, exploration, handicraft.
The list never ends. One of the things I love about 2. Browlyy New Member. Then u won in both sides, real life and gaming life. Enigmatic Active Member. Kashi said:. Browlyy said:. AfroPuff said:. I appreciate the reply. I guess that’s one of the main things Gips not sure of. I remember at one point sport fishing got a huge nerf, but not sure if that is the case. I’m sure Qcnl figure it. Just need to save up enough to buy a plot of land for my farm and get to running some packs.
Thx again for the mney ZZavage Member. Honestly people, if makkng land or running packs ins’t your cup of tea, larceny really does make good money, especially since mob respawn times are increased as.
Plus they can drop the shipright bags anddd the ship regrade scrolls that you can just post to the AH. And queens purses aren’t even here yet Nocht Member. I’ll share a bit of what I. I will provide examples. My rule for ArcheAge has always been to use time wisely.
NEVER feel pressured by the labor cap. If it goes to max and you have better stuff to do, leave it. Labor is for laborious tasks that makimg money, but at a very limited pace. Play smart, not hard. The fun in this game for me is not trade runs or fishing, or planting crap, it’s PvP.
Acn, to get gold for the gear I want, I do two very simple things that take very little time out of my day. I craft and I play the auction house. Both of which take just. Playing the auction house. The majority ArcheAge players blow gold on what they need at that current moment. They don’t think about the origin of the item they need or the steps to make it. Example scenario: Green Regrade Charms in the first 10 days of the server. They cost: 35 credits Credits cost: 10g before the donation crash So with that math, these charms should cost 3.
Well, they don’t. They can be sold ranging from 7 gold to 10 gold! That is a maximum of 6. Sometimes higher. That means when I sold one charm for 8g, I was making nearly 5. There are dozens of items like this that take little time or effort to take advantage of. I am playing less and less now, so I hope more players will take advantage of them in my absence.
Good luck! When people are regrading, they don’t want to have to buy the essence, the wedges, the hammer, the logs, the lumber, the paper. Tpis they will buy the charms, the regrade scrolls, whatever it is for whatever they’re doing. As for highly profitable crafting trees for little effort: Alchemy, Handicraft, all those little things that everyone needs to craft what they want to craft, there’s tons of profit in.
Oils, Etc. Craft to the highest or second highest tier, those tiers are the most profitable. Tier 1 oils, profit is silvers. Tier 3 oils?! Do the math. What does the moderators think about Browlyy ,Selling in gold for money in the archerage forums! I thought buying gold for money or the other way is bannable?
