Is it the best credit card processing solution for Shopify store owners?
My company is quite far along with the development of a payment gateway. We have worked with local banks to build something that is secure and cheap to use. We have a basic checkout api that can be incorperated into home grown online stores and we want to turn it into a shopify plugin. Does that sound possible? I’ve been looking at the docs and I havent found anything that looks like it’ll work without a bit of a hack. Is this possible? Is there anything specific in the docs I should be aware of? All Hosted Payment SDK integrations are based on a full page redirect on the final payment step of Shopify’s checkout through a standardized interface available to third party payment providers. I think either I’ve done something horribly wrong or the docs are out of date. I’m stuck on step 2 here. The link I’m supposed to click on doesn’t exist

I already have a 3rd party payment gateway with my Bank www. All hosted payment SDK’s would use a re-direct on the final payment step of the Shopify checkout which you mentioned. Actually I dont want to build my own payment gateway if I am understanding your reply correctly. Let me talk to my bank and get further technical details, as far as I know till this point, once I signup with my bank, they will provide their payment gateway facility which I need to use with Shopify. They expect Shopify to full redirect the user to their URL with request parameters where user will enter their credit card details , upon submission, bank will perform the transaction and return the user back to Shopify thank you or error page depending on the transaction success or failure. I hope I will be able to setup this with my Shopify shop as I really would like to use Shopify for setting up my business, your help in this regard will be highly appreciable. Unless the bank has an existing integration with Shopify you won’t be able to use the one they provide.

Shopify Payments is the simplest way to accept payments online. It eliminates the hassle of setting up a merchant account with a third-party payment provider, and then entering your account credentials in Shopify. Because Shopify Payments is fully integrated with your store, you can view your payouts directly in the Shopify admin. How you get paid
All Shopify-supported payment methods rely on third-party providers to process your transactions.
